Why we sail 2017-11-30T03:49:39+00:00

From post-civil war reconciliation in Papua New Guinea, building orphanages in Myanmar and Liberia, rebuilding houses in Nicaragua and Grenada, donating books and literature in Sudan and East Timor, and providing accessibility to literature, where it is needed the most, we hope to express practical love, encourage unity in diversity and inspire faith through what we do.

Greetings from our Director

Welcome to Logos Hope, the Largest Floating Book Fair in the World!

This ship is home to 380 people from more than 60 different countries. These people, from widely diverse ages and cultures, have chosen to work on board in order to serve the needs of others around the world. Each crewmember is an unpaid volunteer supported by a group of people who partner with them in the vision and work of Logos HopeThis shared vision is to share knowledge, help and hope with the people of the world. Although you will meet many different people on board, there are some things that we have in common.
One of the most important is our personal faith in God. This life-changing relationship has given each one of us a sense of purpose and meaning.
We trust that as you visit the vessel, you will not only enjoy your time in our home, but also experience something of God’s love for you.

We are so glad that you are interested in our vision and hope to see you on board in near future!

Director of Logos Hope

A gangster on the streets in Seychelles,
an ex-drug dealer who was constantly told that his life was worth nothing,
a teenager who nearly lost his life at the age of 17 years old…..each has a story, each has a past.
We are ordinary crewmembers serving an extraordinary God.
